Grant Awarded

The trustees are pleased to say that a grant has been awarded to a team researching into why some burn wounds do not progress to complete healing and breakdown. This work is being carried out at The University Of Manchester and the Children’s Burns Foundation are funding the three year project, which starts in October 2021.

The Children’s Burns Foundation was established to help young people affected by burn injuries and treated at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, and their families. Our goal is to help them to recognise that their scars don’t limit their lives.
