Inspirational Stories From An Incredible Burns Survivor
In March we were delighted to host an incredible meeting between young burn-injured people, their families and Kim Phuc, who was badly burned as a young child when her village in Vietnam was attacked with Napalm during their war. Many people remember her as the young child whose image was captured as she ran screaming from the village, her clothes burnt off during the blast.
Miss Kim spoke movingly to nearly 200 guests about her experiences growing up with severe scars, inspiring the audience with her courage and determination to not let her injuries limit her in life, both personally and professionally.
