Another Successful Camp

The Foundation supported the Manchester Children’s Burns Camp this year, which saw a number of burn injured young people spending a fantastic week in the Lake District. The weather was extremely kind to them – apparently only one rainy day! – so they had plenty of time to kayak, abseil, hike and mountain bike.

As always, the camp was staffed by a number of volunteers from the Fire Service and the NHS, along with older teenagers who had enjoyed previous camps and were now taking part in a leadership programme.
