Paris Marathon Success
Springtime in Paris is always wonderful but a sunny day with a cool breeze proved to be ideal marathon running conditions for two intrepid supporters. Rachel Arnfield, a plastic surgeon involved in research of burns injuries ran her first ever 26 mile race in a highly respectable 4.3o whilst her partner Tony Holt (who is a Fire Officer) achieved a fantastic 3.45 time. Their hard work pounding the roads may have been tough on the feet but together they have raised over £1000 for the Children’s Burns Foundation. We think they definitely deserve a glass of France’s best bubbly after that!
